After failing with the previous tessellation, I decided to focus on a more promising fractal structure, called the Peano-Gosper-Curve. Because of its regular geometry it is possible to use it for various different combinations & patterns.
The main idea was to create a three-dimensional object related to the basic fractal curve using cubic b-spline approximations.
Via rhino-script, I found a curve which divides the surface into two similar parts. This curve works like a spinal structure through all the three parts of the object.
